Earth Products Ceramic Neti Pot (White)
A ceramic neti pot for gentle saltwater nasal rinsing, an ancient practice from India to help clear a blocked, stuffy nose.
How to use it
- Fill with lukewarm safe water (see below) and mix in a saline sachet or ¼ teaspoon of non-iodised salt.
- Lean over a sink, tilt your head sideways, and pour gently into the top nostril so it drains out of the other. Breathe through your mouth.
- Repeat on the other side, then blow your nose gently.
Important: only use safe water
- Use distilled or sterile water, or tap water that has been boiled for 1 minute and cooled to lukewarm. Never use water straight from the tap, as it can contain germs that are dangerous in the nose.
- Wash and dry the pot after every use.
- Don't use it with a badly blocked nose or ear infection. Check with a doctor before using it on children.
